Made some sketches

HiYo anyone who reads this. Just wanted to share that I got some sketches and drawings done for the bjds I am experimenting to make. I am also having a hard time choosing which one to make.

So....If there is anyone out there who cares to choose for me. I would love you forever!

Well.... Not much in the doll making department has been done. Funds have been tight lately. Also emotions are starting to run high because in the next month.. It will be the anniversary of my mom, dad and grandfather's death. They all died different years but it was always in June that they died. It takes me a month to prepare for the strain it has on me. I get all kinds of messed up emotionally. Hubby and sib are dreading it as well... It's hard.. But I am going to try to focus then on doll making so I am also kinda trying to hold out. I am even going so far as to recycling my clay since yes money is that tight. Bills, car payments and summer with a old A/C unit makes it that way.

But for this month. Both Hubby and I got some new games to waste time on. He got Civilization 5 and I got Don't Starve. But things also have been getting rough in the edges with Hubby and I. All he does is sit around even on his days off and leaves me with the house cleaning. I can understand the unwinding and the need to take it easy but not 3 days into his off schedule. It's pissing me off.

Not gonna bitch about it too much. I kinda don't see the point of it. In the end it leads to nothing.

2nd post

Okay so this is a actual doll update.

Recall that cosmetology I mentioned. Well class got cancelled because no one came. Too busy getting drunk before the holiday so they can pretend to be holy for Easter. 

So since she is so used to going to school she needed something to do. So we made dolls today. 

She wasn't bad for her first time messing with polymer clay. She's coming back to finish it. I actually came up with some new theories as well. 

So I pulled out some scrap beige clay out and seeing if it can work out. What I am trying is making the whole doll and then cutting it up after it is baked. I have seen it but never tried it before. So lets see what happens. I'll post the results later

Sick

Hiya

Today I am sick. . Sib is away for the holiday. and I can't get paid this week so no supply run for doll parts either!!!

Worst. Day. Ever.

I was going to spend the day cleaning and then going out for a few new CAM sets. To see if I could find some matching ones thus negating the fact that I would have to paint the body parts I already have!!!

And now Hubby got the finger because he asked a stupid question... But I do love him very much

. Hubby isnt exactly the most expressive man in the world but when he is. It's always awesome!

For example. For my birthday a few years back. I got a brand new computer, X-mas the internet
and for the last year he has helped support my crafting and doll hobby.

He just did now as well. He got me a Ever After High Doll!! Cerise Hood a first gen!!!!

Okay I take back every single bad thing I have thought about him. The sickness and stress got to me I love you Hubby and thank you

I need to make a new shelf even more now for Cerise and my pony figures...Now off to get ready for a outing
Oh and soz this isn't much of a doll blog but I needed to vent.

First Entry

Might as well get the ball rolling.....

Mostly what I am working on now is a doll mod with a collection of a Monster High CAM set and parts of a broken Laguna Blue doll. 

Someone stepped on her and was gonna toss her. I say to thee Nay! If I can find parts at good will or garage sales. I will get em. I also except donations and if I can give a portion to the donor if the doll sales..

Anyway that little story aside. The problems that is stopping me are the body parts are different colors and the more important fact that I am having a hard time choosing what to do with her.

I have 2 ideas swirling in my head at the moment...

1) Kuchisaki-Onna (the Slit Mouth Woman)

I am drawn to folklore from Japan and this one just popped. I also have to use a differant head from the Cam set. The head cracked and tore when stepped on...I think it was because someone had used hair spray or something. The main damage was the upper arm being completely split up.... Annnyway! The point is I hate the CAM head's lips (Ghost CAM if you wanna look up what she looks like) So I was thinking of covering them with a mask or some sculpt work..

2) A twisted up version of Harley Quinn. I have always loved that adorable lil psychopath. So I was thinking of just painting the whole doll white, re rooting the hair with a lil dyed up blonde hair (I know a chick who studies cosmetology and also is interested in dolls) I have no design in particular but like most modding suggests. I shall make a design first. I highly suggest that...I tried modding a Cleo DeNile doll without a design....Big Mistake! I will pick her up again one day...just..not now..(I also need to find the body) 

So when the design is done. I shall post.

I am not one for blogging but I see it everywhere these days

I have a Pinterest, Tumbler, Deviantart and Gaia account but no blog.

I guess this changes today....Maybe..

Not much of a intro I know but it is 3:30 am here and with hubby being sick I can't run my tools right now...

I get Insomnia often.. So...Most of my posts will be in the AM.

*ahem* I will strive to do my best to keep this updated and who knows maybe I will actually become a sitcom.... NOT!

All randomness aside. I will now tell you what this will be about. I strive to make and mod dolls. I collect them and I obsess over the fanbase.

So that is mostly what this is going to be the topic of my posts
